Are you a parent looking for a unique day of family fun with your kids where you can possibly get them involved in fun and healthy programs that will last through the summer?  Could you use a little bit of fun yourself?  Then do we have something for you this Saturday at the Butte Family YMCA as "Healthy Kids Day" will be taking place, and your family is invited.

Healthy Kids Day will get underway at 9:45am with a color run that has a cost of $5 per participant and includes a t-shirt.  Every other event that will be taking place afterwards is free and there will be plenty for all to enjoy.  There will be live music and laser tag along with a "Family Fun Portrait Booth".  There will be information booths set up with hands-on activities and there will be advance registration for all of the YMCA's summer programs.  Advance registrants will also recieive a surprise gift.  If the weather holds up they are planning on having a bounce house and an inflatable obstacle course set up and in any case there will be swimming indoors and a bunch of great drawings where you could win things like a YMCA membership, a spot in their summer camp, a place on one of their soccer teams or even swim lessons.

The Butte Family YMCA is at 2975 Washoe and is looking forward to hosting you and your family this Saturday.  If you have any questions you can hit them up online or call for information, (406) 782-1266.
