= Tickets Available for Headwaters Country Jam in June =

The Bridge, Southwest Montana’s renowned outdoor amphitheater near Three Forks (12 miles west of Three Forks on US HWY 2), will host the first annual Headwaters Country Jam, a three-day country music festival, June 26, 27 and 28. Headliners include Deana Carter, Collin Raye, Joe Diffie, Mark Chesnutt, Sammy Kershaw, Little Texas, special guest David Allan Coe, Highway 101, Garrett Wilkin and the Parrotheads (a Jimmy Buffett tribute band), and The Man In Black (a Johnny Cash tribute band), with more to come. “Looking at the past success of music festivals at the Bridge, we know that Montanan’s love to come out and listen to great music outdoors,” said investor John Zuelke. “And it’s about time we bring country back to its roots.”

Tickets are available now online at www.headwaterscountryjam.com,  by calling TIX at 1-800-595-4TIX, or at your local Headwaters Country Jam ticket outlet, and in Butte, the Butte Depot and Bruce & Bob’s Goodguy Pawn are selling tickets.  Three-day passes can be purchased for $120, single day passes for $50, VIP passes for $250, and campsites for $60. For music enthusiasts planning ahead, advance special packages can be purchased through the website. For questions about purchasing tickets, email tickets@headwaterscountryjam.com.

With the Bridge’s festival style seating and natural sound quality that is truly impressive, attendees will be thrilled by country music’s brightest stars.

Motley Crue repesentatives Tenth Street Entertainment recently (partially) shot down "blatantly false and completely unfounded" rumors of the Crue headlining a festival-type tour called "Cruefest", but teased of a huge announcement to be made at an April 15 Motley Crue press conference.

= Rock News: Velvet Revolver Possible Led Zeppelin Openers? =

Amidst rumors of a possible break-up, fueled by an announcement of a Stone Temple Pilots summer reunion tour, Velvet Revolver is the front-runner to open for Led Zeppelin if the band were to go on a full tour.

VR's Duff McKagan explains, “I understand that we have it, although I imagine there will be plenty of bands prepared to kick and punch us out of the way for the privilege!”  One band who is probably most prepared to fight it out is the Cult, who's frontman Ian Astbury recently informed a Cinncinati crowd that his band would be the opener.

No Led Zeppelin dates have been announced, possibly due to Robert Plant's current date commitments for his joint tour with Allison Krauss.
