Montana’s Most Popular Drive-In Is As Old School As It Gets
Call me a sucker for nostolgia, but I love all things old school.
I suppose that everyone thinks they grew up during the best of times, but as a kid of the 80s, I'm convinced it was the greatest decade of all. Great music, great TV, great fashion (ok, well that's debatable), and great toys.
Living in Montana, there is still plenty of nostalgia to be found, especially in smaller towns. While places like Bozeman and Missoula may be becoming more "metropolitan", you will still find plenty of old school Montana out there, and when it comes to old school, you can't do much better than an old school drive-in.

Which Montana drive-in restaurant is the best?
While opinions will vary, according to one source, the best drive-in restaurant in Montana has been serving locals and out-of-staters for 70 years.
Food_Insight listed the best drive-in restaurant in each state, and when it came to Montana, it shouldn't come as a huge surprise that taking the top spot is Mark's In & Out in Livingston. Marks has been in business for 71 years, and folks come from all over to stand in line for their delicious burgers and shakes.
I'm a big fan of Marks. Not only is it a great place to hang out on a beautiful Montana summer day, but the food is top-notch and the prices won't break the bank. Plus, their double cheeseburger and orange and marshmallow shake are heavenly.
And while it might not be a shock that Marks is the winner, that doesn't mean it was an easy choice. There are several great drive-in restaurants around Montana. Places like Sugar High in Ennis, Best Burger in Four Corners, R-B Drive In in Helena, Ford's in Great Falls, and Royce's in Butte.
