Under The Radar Ski Town in Montana

You might laugh at this news.

Forbes believes there are 7 Ski Property Havens Under The Radar, and one Montana spot made the list.

The list includes places in Switzerland, Colorado, and New Zealand, but the Montana pick was interesting.

The ski property haven under the radar in Montana is Whitefish.

Whitefish is home to Whitefish Mountain Resort, formerly Big Mountain, and has been popular with tourists and locals for decades.

Whitefish is an incredible town with stunning views and a great downtown. The locals welcome everyone, even Canadians.

Is it under the radar? We have to disagree.

Whitefish has become a hot spot for many new residents and folks looking for a vacation home.

Real estate prices have been skyrocketing in Whitefish. The average cost of a single-family home is around $860,000.

Those prices don't scream under the radar.

Many ski towns in Montana have seen their real estate prices hit astronomical prices. Bozeman, Big Sky, and other ski areas have seen home prices rise drastically.
