Butte's own Tommy Curran suffered a major heart attack on February 26. He was life-flighted to Billings where he underwent open heart surgery, in which complications developed and life support efforts continue. Tommy’s condition is stable, but it will likely be several weeks before he is out of intensive care. His family is staying in a motel in order to be near him, at a large expense and loss of work wages. Tommy’s friends and family are trying to raise enough money to ensure cost of living expenses are covered.

You can show your support to the Curran family by attending the Medical Benefit for Tommy Curran fundraiser on Thursday, March 30 at the KC Hall in uptown Butte, 224 W. Park St, getting underway at 5pm.

Unable to attend? Donations can be made at the KC Hall as well as Sam's Place at 905 N. Excelsior with checks written out to Tommy Curren Benefit Fund or visit Tommy's GoFundMe.
