SNÖFLINGA Southwestern Polar Plunge to Benefit Special Olympics Montana
Are you brave enough to take the Polar Plunge?
The SouthWestern Polar Plunge, organized and conducted by the Law Enforcement Torch Run, is an exciting and fun Butte fundraiser to benefit Special Olympics Montana that takes place during the SnoFlinga Winter Festival, coming to the Mining City January 20-23.
This year's plunge is scheduled for Saturday, January 21 at the Original Mineyard at 3pm. Enjoy all the exciting events and festivities of the day all while supporting Special Olympics Montana athletes and teams in the Butte, Anaconda, Dillon and Deer Lodge regions.
In order to participate, individuals or teams collect pledges from friends, family, and colleagues and in return, jumps into a cold pool in uptown Butte. In January. Brrrr...
Organize a team with your friends, family, colleagues, etc., collect pledges and plunge! Try a theme of costumes for your team for even more fun!
The Polar Plunge is primarily organized and conducted by the Law Enforcement Torch Run to benefit Special Olympics Montana. Community involvement is critical in aiding SW Montana's athletes. Proceeds raised go to help provide year-round sports training and competition. Additionally, your contribution and involvement helps athletes achieve their goals, live healthier lives, and have a sense of inclusion in the community. If you cannot take the Plunge, you can still come out, make a donation, volunteer your time and show your support!
