Just when you thought Easter was all about family gatherings, a wave of vandalism swept through Butte, leaving many asking: who would do such a thing?

Thieves and vandals suck no matter what, but when they hit a location that has done so much to restore a once run-down albeit historic building, you just have to scratch your head. I am talking about the Butte Depot which was broken into last night

Monday night around 8:45, the Mountain View Cemetery, the final resting place of Evel Knievel and a testament to Butte, Montana's colorful past, was vandalized, apparently by a white box truck, tearing off the beautiful wrought iron arch and support that has stood for well over 100 years.
