The Centerville Volunteer Fire Department's 27th Annual Mother's Day Breakfast highlights a very busy weekend of great food, music, bingo and dancing at Butte Elks Lodge #240 at 206 W. Galena. If you are looking for a reason to get out and dance this weekend, the Butte Elks Lodge #240 at 206 W. Galena is giving you a couple of reasons to this Friday night. The Klobucars, Butte's favorite family of line dancing instructors will be putting on an instruction session along with the Copper City Divas and Dudes followed by a show from the unmistakable Kyle Rife who is making his first appearance on the Elks' stage.

Any time someone is diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer, it is a heavy blow to their family. Especially when it is a young father who is just getting things going in life. But Brandon West is not the type of person to let cancer stop him. He and his family could, however, use some help from their community, a community that has come together in the past, time and time again.

Show your appreciation and support for our local Volunteer Fire Departments at a fundraiser breakfast at the Butte Elks Lodge #240 at 206 W. Galena this Sunday. The breakfast will run from 8am until noon and is ten dollars per plate. Bring your friends and family and show your support for our local Volunteer Fire Departments.

You need not any extra motivation to attend the Taylor St. Pierre Medical Benefit coming June 8 to the Elks Lodge in Butte at 206 W. Galena. After all, Taylor is an awesome girl with one of the most positive attitudes you are going to find. Made more impressive is that Taylor has been battling Pancreatitis for over a decade now, yet her smile remains. You would never know looking at this vibrant, positive, beautiful young woman that she is in need of a life-saving surgery.

This Thursday through Sunday, The Elks Lodge at 206 W. Galena in Uptown Butte is featuring some homegrown entertainment and a pair of fundraisers for a couple of fantastic local organizations along with Sunday Funday Bingo.

Live music with one of Butte's hottest new bands on Friday will kick off a weekend of great tunes and a couple of hearty breakfasts at the Butte Elks Lodge at 206 W. Galena Street.

The Butte Elks Lodge at 240 W. Galena is going to be busy this week with everything from trivia and bingo to music and dancing with events beginning this Wednesday evening.

Virginia City's incredible Brewery Follies will perform their irreverant and politcally-incorrect "Twistmas in December" Friday and Saturday nights at 8pm, doors open at 6:30pm. This incredibly funny and talented group of actors, actresses and musicians promise "foolshness, absurdity, satire and nonsense".

The Butte Spay and Neuter Task Force has been hard at work around town. You may have even been to one of their spay and neuter or vaccination clinics. Over the years they have sterilized and uncountable number of pets here in the Mining City and have prevented what can only be estimated at thousands of unwanted dogs and cats from winding up on the streets or in the shelter. Even with that number, their "task force" in numbers is relatively few. Their work is noble. Their work is certainly humane. And their work is also expensive. They are looking for funds and they are looking for foster families. And there are several ways that you can help.
