The Butte-Silver Bow Health Department will be hosting two Narcan administration trainings in the Health Department Conference Room on Thursday, November 21st. It's pumpkin-carvin' time here in Butte and Southwest Montana. Needless to say, it is also pumpkin spice season once again and time to relish in all of the fall-specific seasonal treats like pumpkin pie, pumpkin rolls, well, the list goes on and on. With Halloween coming up on Thursday, this is also the specific time of year where the once bountiful supply of pumpkins that once could be found at our local Walmart and Safeway stores becomes bare and thin. Simply put, if you're reading this right now, you could be running out of time.

Well, the big weekend is finally here. The Montana Folk Festival has arrived, and we can expect three days of incredible music from all over the globe, unique cuisine, one-of-a-kind crafts and thousands of people converging on the Mining City. With several stages spread across the eastern perimeter of Uptown Butte and several street closures going into effect, parking will again be a challenge this year.

What are the housing needs of our community today? What housing needs will need to be addressed in the future? Your thoughts and questions are welcome. The event is open to all, so please take advantage of this opportunity to meet with our community's leaders and policy makers. You will be able to weigh in on policy, on goals, on location and on types of housing.
