Last year the Butte High Bulldogs steamrolled through the final third of the season on their way to an appearance Saturday night at the state tournament. This season, an experienced and talented Bulldog team has their eyes on nothing less than one of the trophies, preferably the big one. Butte High gets the show rolling, on the road tonight in the Gallatin Valley for a date with the Belgrade Panthers.

The Butte High Bulldogs got a split against the Glacier High Wolfpack from Kalispell, MT on Tuesday with the girls getting nipped by 2 and the boys erasing a double-digit deficit to come away with a Western AA victory.

Cameron Gurnsey's steal and breakaway dunk with 2:00 to play was part of a 9-0 Butte High 4th quarter run that was too much for Missoula Big Sky to weather as the Bulldogs beat the Eagles 87-78 Tuesday night at Ross J. Richardson Gymnasium on the campus of Butte High School.

Butte High's freshman phenom Hudson Luedtke had 21 points and sophomore Dylan Bache came off the bench to add a dozen as the Butte High Bulldogs pounded their way to a 67-56 Western AA victory over Missoula Sentinel Friday night at Ross J. Richardson gymnasium,
