After last week's convincing win over Central Washington University, Oredigger fans are chomping the bit to get their beloved team back in town and back to work this Saturday. The Orediggers will open conference play against Eastern Oregon at 1pm at Bob Green Field at Alumni Coliseum and Metals Sports Bar and Grill on the corner of Park and Main is back with their first "Kegs and Eggs" party of the young season.
If anything, the Uptown Butte Farmers Market is hitting its stride as we head into the late summer months. Sure, the market has several weeks left before it's final Saturday of the season which will be on October 7 but right now just feels like the best time of the year check it out, especially if you haven't made it up yet. The Farmers Market is on Park Street from the Main intersection and extends west to the Phoenix Building, running from 8am to 1pm on Saturdays. We made it up last week and here's what we found.

The Butte Winter Farmer's Market has been a huge success, so luckily, organizers are happy to bring it back beginning this Saturday, November 12th! Of course, it all takes place "indoors" in the Butte Plaza Mall as beautiful crops, and meticulous handmade crafts would turn into pure icicles otherwise. With the winter weather sometimes stifling people from getting from point A to point B, the "indoor" Butte Winter Farmer's Market gives people a chance to come together in a comfortable and accessible environment.
