Already off to their best start in recorded history at 10-0, the Montana Tech Men's Basketball Team tonight will head west on I-90 to Dahlberg Arena in Missoula for a date with the Montana Grizzlies for an exhibition basketball contest at 7pm. While the game is an exhibition and will not count towards the Orediggers official record, it offers the Orediggers a chance to play up a couple of classifications, facing a Montana Grizzly team with Big Sky Championship aspirations, and maybe get a win as they did a few years back. Which gives the Griz plenty of motivation and reason to take the Orediggers seriously and as a clear threat.
Butte has always had a special relationship with the annual Cat/Griz Football Game. Geographically, we're right between the two universities and in addition to sending several players to both teams' rosters, Butte even hosted the big game from 1926 to 1951. Couldn't get tickets and are going to be watching the game here in town? Here are a few places worth checking out.

So has giving back to the community which he continues to inspire as for another summer, Colt will be bringing the "Dream Big Montana Experience" to the Mining City. The skills camp is open to youngsters entering kindergarten through 8th Grade, is absolutely free and immensely popular.
Now I know that rabbit has been and is now a part of some Montanan's diets. I just don't happen to know any. So, it strikes me as a little bit, well, gamey. I've never had rabbit myself and it got me to thinking, how far would the Thomas Meaher and the folks in the Garden City be willing to take this?
While only a pair of games are on the college sports schedule here in Butte, there is a lot of action happening only a couple hours away from town in either direction, especially if you like playoff football.
