Sweet Petites

You are invited to a celebration if Indigenous Peoples Day this Monday, October 14th at the Butte-Silver Bow County Courthouse where a big event is planned by the Native Wellness Center, Western Native Voice and Butte-Silver Bow County. The celebration will get underway at 11am with a Native American Drumming demonstration as well as complimentary Indian Tacos from the Sweet Petites food truck for the first 100 attendees.

This Saturday, East Galena Street in Uptown Butte is going to be hopping once again as local entrepreneur Matt Boyle is putting on the "Munchies Off Main 420 Food Truck Festival" which is set to provide food, entertainment, unique vendors and a lot of fun starting at 11am outside of Collective Elevation at 34 E. Galena. Boyle is no stranger to events, big or small, and this festival will be the third food truck gathering he's hosted since last Spring and this year's gathering will have plenty of treats.

Music on Main is entering its final 3 weeks but things are by no means slowing down. In fact, with the number of food trucks expected tonight along with one of Butte's favorite bands performing, you could say that they are indeed gearing up for a big finish.

If there was one complaint from people who attended the first Food Truck Festival last April outside of Collective Elevation on Galena Street, it was that the lines for food were too long. The food trucks and tents on site were being run ragged with orders from the larger-than-expected crowd. All day. Which, of course, was music to their ears. Well, it didn't take long for word to get out to other area vendors and that is why you are going to find a ridiculous number of food trucks, tents and carts for the Butte Food Truck Festival and Block Party which will again be taking place on East Galena Street centered at Collective Elevation at 34 E. Galena.

Week #2 of Uptown Butte's immensely popular Music on Main series is ready to roll with food vendors, live music, a magician and if the weather holds, a scavenger hunt for the kids and even a foam machine if the weather holds.

Butte's food truck festival is scheduled to run from 11 to 8 on Saturday, April 22 at Collective Elevation at 34 E. Galena and it's looking like it's going to be huge. Already signed up are Wicked Que BBQ, Sweet Petites, Papa Tom's Kettle Corn, Big Bird's Kitchen and SKC Teriyaki for starters.
