The '80s and '90s are filled with rock bands that enjoyed brief moments of success, but should their careers have been bigger? Some bands deserved better.

Some acts shine for only a small time, but in many cases they left us feeling like they should have been bigger.

Tim Montana is being considered for Grammy nomination in not one, but three categories, Best New Artist, Best Rock Song Performance for "Devil You Know" and Best Rock Album for "Savage".

For a guy who was less than an hour away from opening for two bands responsible for a big share of post-grunge 1990s and early 2000s hard rock, Tim Montana was relatively calm. No, make that incredibly calm. After all, no matter the size of the venue or the fame of the bands with whom he will share the stage, it was just another day at the office.

Things just continue to roll for Tim Montana. On Monday, September 30th, Tim will be on the bill with two of the late 1990s and early 2000s biggest bands, Creed and Tonic, as the "Summer of 99" Tour hits the Hartford Healthcare Ampitheater in Bridgeport, Conneticut.
