Accessing health care services can be challenging, particularly amidst statewide and nationwide budge cuts and changes to different policies.  Where do you look if you are a patient or even a caregiver?  An event is coming to Butte next week that aims to answer those questions and a lot more.  The following is a release from SEIU 775.

SEIU 775 will host a free, family-friendly Caregiver Fall Festival on Tuesday, September 29, bringing together caregivers, clients, families, friends and community members for an evening celebrating Montana's caregivers and the people they support.  The event comes as the programs that fund caregiver services are targeted for cuts in Helena and Washington D.C.

The festival will take place from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at the Front Street Station, 800 E. Front Street in Butte.

The event will feature a DJ and music, a photo booth, face painting, fall crafts, a chili bar, hot drinks and desserts.  Kids are welcome and admission is free.  Community members will also have the chance to learn about health care services and to learn about how to access them amidst cuts and complex policy changes.

SEIU 775 invites caregivers, clients, family members, friends and community members to attend and to help celebrate the people who provide essential care in communities across Montana.

If you have any questions or require further details or information on this Tuesday's Caregivers Fall Festival, please contact Chris Saeger at chris@bigmountainstrategy.com or call (406) 438-1918.

SEIU 775 represents more than 60,000 long-term care workers providing quality home care, nursing home care, and residential services in Washington, Montana, and Alaska.
