Prepare Thy Livery- The Montana Renaissance Festival Is Approaching

Mark thy calendars and prepare thy hearts and minds for a most unforgettable experience. The Montana Renaissance Festival will be held on the 3rd and 4^th of June in Red Lodge, Montana.

Starting in 2012, The Montana Renaissance Festival has grown each and every year, and this year is no exception. With over 130 vendor booths, you will find anything your wee little heart desires. You will find hand-forged items, glass-blown trinkets, hand-tooled leathers, shirts of armor, and more. There are items for the people, and more importantly, the pets in your life. You will also find food and beverage booths throughout the grounds as well.

There are five separate performance stages set up, with nearly forty different performers lined up for the two-day event. You will be entertained all weekend by an incredibly diverse group of troubadours, and bards. Also entertaining the masses will be several groups of ‘players’ telling takes of comedy, intrigue, and unrequited love throughout the grounds. There will be sword swallowers, cirque performers, and ventriloquists.

The five stages will have 30-minute shows starting at 10:30 and running until 5:30 pm on Saturday. They get started again at 10:30 on Sunday and wrap up at 3:30 pm.

There will also be jousting and fighting demonstrations throughout the weekend as well. The Order of Epona jousting company will return to the fair this year. Other fighting groups include the Yellowstone Sword Club, the Barony of BronzeHelm- SCA, the Skystone – Billings Armtgard, and Sons of Odin.
