Belmont Senior Center posts list of June happenings
As we head into summer, the Belmont Senior Citizens Center at 615 E. Mercury St. is full of activities for the month of June. Here's an overview of what's happening this month for Southwest Montana seniors.
WEEKLY EVENTS
- Bingo is played every Monday thru Thursday at 1pm. This schedule will be in effect through Labor Day. Cost is $1.50 extra for blackout.
- Pinochle games are played on Tuesdays and Wednesday from 1pm to 3:45pm. Cost is $1 plus 25 cents per set.
- Sneakers Exercise Class is every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am to 11am. Cost is $1.50 per class.
- Fresh cinnamon rolls and coffee for a buck are served on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8am to 10:30am.
- Rides to doctor appointments and shopping excursions are available Monday and Wednesday mornings depending on availability. Cost is $10 per trip.
JUNE ACTIVITIES
- Hearing Aid Cleaning with Robin will take place on June 10th at 10:30am.
- Beginners Line Dance Class will also be on June 10th, from 11am to 12pm.
- June Birthday Lunch will be on June 25th at noon.
- Changing Seasons Grief Support Group will meet Thursday, June 18th at 1pm, sponsored by Axelson Cremation Services and Honeybee Hospice.
The Belmont will be closed for cleaning on June 12th and again on June 19th in observance of the Juneteenth Federal Holiday.
Remember when visiting the Belmont to be aware of the fire lane and the loading zone. Kindly refrain from parking in either area please.
