The Mining City is gearing up for a laid-back but lively 4/20 celebration as The Covellite at 215 W. Broadway in Uptown Butte is hosting "420 on the Hill" on Monday, April 20th.

Running from 6pm to midnight, the free 21 and older event promises a full evening of entertainment spread across multiple spaces inside The Covellite.  The idea is simple: give people a place to relax, connect and enjoy a mix of film, music and atmosphere without a cover charge.

The main theatre anchors the night with a stoner-comedy double feature.  Things kick off a 6pm with Pineapple Express, followed by the classic Up In Smoke at 8:30pm.  For those looking to settle in, it's a chance to revisit two genre favorites on the big screen.

Beyond the theatre, the rest of the venue will be active throughout the night.  Attendees can move between the lower bar, booth seating and a designated consumption lounge, while grabbing a bite to eat from the Bada Bing food truck that will be on-site during the event.

Downstairs, the basement stage offers a different vibe.  Early in the evening, AplenGlow Visuals will set the tone before DJ Eric Dunbar takes over from 8pm to midnight, keeping the energy up with a late-night set.

Organizers are pitching the event as an "all-access pass" to a relaxed but high-energy gathering--something that feels both easygoing but still immersive.

Again, admission to "420 on the Hill" is free but stricly for those 21 and older and always remember that if you use to please do so responsibly.
