It’s National Cheeseburger Day. Try These Butte-Exclusive Burgers.
If if were up to me, every day would be National Cheeseburger Day. Okay, when it was up to me, it was always cheeseburger day, but I digress. There are many deals available today and some great places to grab yourself a beloved cheeseburger at a great price. Here are some choices that are unique to Butte.
HP2 CAFE
HP2 is right next to Butte Produce at 3941 Wynne Avenue and their smashburgers are some of the biggest and best that you will find anywhere. They use only 100% Montana-raised beef that is never frozen and they were recently voted "Butte's Best Burger" by a local newspaper.
M&M

The M&M on Main Street is famous for a pair of legendary Butte burgers, the Ground Round Cheese D and the Whatzit, both legendary in Butte culture and still delicious today. Don't forget the gravy on your fries.
HOMESTAKE PUB

On Utah just north of Front Street you will find Homestake Pub whose food has been gathering rave reviews for years. In addition to their Butter Burger and their Drive-Inn Burger, the Paddy Melt at Homestake Pub is one of my personal favorites.
ROYSE'S

Since 1971, Royse's on Harrison Avenue has been serving up incredible cheeseburgers and fantastic milkshakes. On the burger side of things you can never go wrong with a double-decker Butte Burger or it's larger counterpart the Montana Burger.
PORK CHOP JOHN'S

Okay, while John's is known for their Original Pork Chop Sandwich, you will also find they serve some outstanding cheeseburgers both Uptown and on Harrison Avenue. Try a double, loaded-deluxe and I doubt you will be disappointed.
