
Butte Central Maroons post weekly sports schedule
The football team returns home while the Butte Central volleyball, golf and cross country teams find themselves in the thick of the action this week. Here is the Maroons weekly sports schedule
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 22ND
It's a big day of sub varsity action today as the Maroon Golf Team sends the Junior Varsity squad down to Beaverhead County to compete in the Dillon JV Invite being held at the Beavehead County Golf Course with play beginning at 10am. At 2:45 back home at Torger Oaas Field at the Maroon Activity Center will be the site of the BC JV Football Jamboree which will include squads from Jefferson High, Whitehall and East Helena.
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 25TH
The Cross Country team will be in the hunt at the Butte High School Invitational taking place at Stodden Park starting at 12pm. The Volleyball teams will be hosting Frenchtown at the Maroon Activitiy Center with the frosh playing at 4:15pm, the JVs at 5:30pm and the varsity match set for 7pm.
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 26TH
The Butte Central Golf Team heads to the Hamilton and the Western A Divisional Tournament being played at the Hamilton Golf Club. Play begins at 10am. Conference play begins for the Maroons Football Team as the Corvallis Blue Devils come to town with kickoff set for 7pm at Bob Green Field on the campus of Montana Tech.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 27TH
The BC Cross Country Teams are in Dillon for the Dillon Invitational with the first start set for 11am. The Maroons Volleyball Team will be in Hamilton with the frosh match at 12pm, the JVs at 1:30pm and the varsity contest at 3pm.
