Butte Central Maroons post weekly sports schedule

Just like that, fall activities are if full swing and the Butte Central Maroons athletic teams will be seeing plenty of action.  Here is where the Maroons will be competing this week.

GOLF

Wednesday the Butte Central golf teams will be competing at the Dillon Invitational at the Beaverhead County Golf Course with play beginning at 9am.  On Thursday the Maroons will head to Bigfork and Eagle Bend Golf Club with play again scheduled to start at 9am.

FOOTBALL

Friday is the Maroons home opener as they host the Hardin/Lodge Grass co-op at Bob Green Field on the campus of Montana Tech with kickoff set for 7pm.  Last week Hardin/Lodge Grass steamrolled Stevensville 40-14 while the Maroons were blanked by Lockwood, 27-0.

VOLLEYBALL

The abundance of school buses you will be seeing on Friday and Saturday will be due in large part to the Southwest vs. Southeast extravaganza being held at the Maroon Activities Center.  There will be two courts of play and here is the schedule:
