Shipping from Butte? Here are the Holiday shipping deadlines you need to know

Just like that, not only are all of the Thanksgiving leftovers gone but we are very close to the shipping deadlines you are going to need to make if you have presents for friends and family across the country that you want to send from Butte and arrive in time for Christmas.  So get those presents wrapped and ready to go.  Here are the deadlines for the post office and local parcel services.

• Wednesday, December 17th is the last day to ship packages using USPS First Class or USPS Ground Advantage services.
• Thursday, December 18th is the last day to ship using Priority Mail
• Friday, December 19th is the last day to ship using Priority Mail Express

Remember, these are the recommended ship-by dates for locations in the lower 48 states and times and dates could vary depending on origin, destination and acceptance time.  If you're not sure, try to mail your packages a few days early.
