
Here’s where you’ll find the Butte High Bulldogs this week
It's the first full school week of 2026 and a busy one for Butte High Athletics. Here is where you will find the Bulldogs in action this week.
WRESTLING
On Tuesday the Bulldog boys and girls varsity teams will host a pair of duals against Missoula teams, the first at 6pm against Hellgate and the second against Big Sky at 7pm. Extra matches against both schools will begin at 5pm and all matches will take place at Butte High School. Both boys and girls will follow the same schedule. Also on Tuesday the Bulldog boys JV program will compete in the Powell County Mixer at Deer Lodge High School with matches starting at 5pm.
Saturday will bring another pair of duals for both the boys and girls at Butte High School, this time against Kalispell teams. The Bulldog boys will meet Glacier High School at 12pm and Flathead High at 2pm. The girls will grapple with Glacier at 11am and Flathead at 1pm. The Flathead contest will also serve as Senior Parent Night.
SWIMMING
The Bulldog swim teams will be hosting the Butte Invite which will take place at the Butte Family YMCA starting at 10am.
SPEECH AND DEBATE
Friday and Saturday the Bulldogs Speech & Debate Team will be competing in Helena.
BASKETBALL
The Bulldog boys and girls basketball teams will be heading to Kalispell this weekend. Friday they will play the Flathead Braves. On the boys side the frosh play at 3pm, the sophomores at 6pm, the JVs at 4:30pm and the varsities at 7:30pm. The girls frosh play at 7:30pm, the sophomores at 4:30pm, the JVs at 3pm and the varsities at 6pm. On Saturday it will be the Glacier Wolfpack The boys frosh and sophomores will play in Rankin Gym, the frosh at 2pm and the sophomores at 11am. The JV game is at 12:30pm and the varsity contest at 3:30pm, both in the main gymnasium. The girls frosh and sophomores will be in the Rankin Gym at 3:30pm and 12:30pm,respectively, while the JV and varsity contests will be in the main gymnasium at 11am and 2pm.
