Here is where you can catch the Butte High Bulldogs this week

The wrestlers and the swimmers are off to state, the speech & debate squad heads to a national event in Whitefish while a pair of varsity basketball doubleheaders highlights this week's Butte High activities schedule.  Here's where you can catch the Bulldogs in action this week.

BOYS AND GIRLS WRESTLING

Qualifying wrestlers from both squads will be heading to the Billings Metra for the State Wrestling Tournament which will get underway Thursday afternoon and wrap up with championship matches on Saturday.

BOYS AND GIRLS SWIMMING

Like the wrestlers, qualifiers for the State Swim Meet will be headed to Great Falls for competition beginning on Thursday and finishing on Saturday.

SPEECH & DEBATE

Butte High's Speech & Debate Team will head north to Whitefish, MT for a National Speech & Debate Association event that will start Friday and conclude on Saturday.

BOYS BASKETBALL

The Bulldogs will look to continue the momentum picked up from Friday's win over Missoula Hellgate as they are home again for a pair of contests against teams from the Flathead Valley.  On Friday it will be the Glacier Wolfpack in town with the frosh and sophomores playing at Butte High school at 1:30pm and 3pm respectively, the JV will play at 1:30pm at the Butte Civic Center as will the varsity squad at 4:30.  On Saturday it will be the Flathead Braves with the sophomores at noon at Butte High School followed by the frosh at 1:30pm.  The JVs will be back at the Civic Center for a 1:30pm tipoff and the varsity game, at the Civic Center starts at 3pm.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

On Monday, the girls frosh team will play Boulder at home at 4:30pm.  Tuesday it's the JV squad, also at home, taking on Deer Lodge at 5pm.  On Friday the girls are at home against Glacier with the frosh at Butte High School tipping off at 3pm, the sophomores play at 1:30, also at Butte High.  The JV and varisty squads will play at the Butte Civic Center with the JV game at 3pm and the varsity contest at 6pm.  On Saturday, along with the boys, the girls will host Flathead High School with the frosh and sophomores at Butte High School at noon and 1:30pm respectively.  The JV and varsity games will be at the Civic Center at noon and 4:30pm respectively.
