What To Expect From Butte High School Sports This Week

A relatively light week is ahead of the Butte High School sports and activities teams but you'll still be able to catch the swim team and boys basketball squads at home. Here is a complete rundown of where you will find the Bulldogs in action this week at home and on the road.

GIRLS WRESTLING

Only the junior varsity squad will see action this week as they head to Dillon on Tuesday with matches beginning at 5pm

BOYS WRESTILING

On Tuesday the boys JV squad will join their female counterparts in Dillon with matches beginning at 5pm. Saturday the varsity squad will be in action as they head to Great Falls for the AA Duals Meet with matches getting underway at 10am.

SWIMMING

The Bulldog swim teams will host the Mining City Invite with a 12pm start time at the Butte Family YMCA.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Only a single opponent is on the slate for the Bulldog girls basketball program as they head to the Garden City to do battle with the Missoula Hellgate Knights. The freshman and sophomores will play at 4pm, the JV contest is at 5:30pm and the varsity contest is set for 7pm.

BOYS BASKETBALL

The Bulldog boys are on a tear as they come into Thursday's contest against Missoula Hellgate with an 8-1 overall record. The Bulldogs will host the Knights at Ross J. Richardson Memorial Gymnasium on the campus of Butte High School. The freshmen and sophomores will play at 4pm, the JV contest will start at 5:30 and the varsities will clash at 7pm.
