Belmont Center hosting “A Night in Butte History” with Chris Fisk
When it comes to Butte history, there are few that are on par with Chris Fisk. Ask any of the thousands of students he taught as a distinguished History teacher at Butte High School. Fisk simply brings Montana history, particularly Butte history alive not only to high school students but to any tourist who is fortunate enough to board a trolley tour in which Fisk is the driver/director or anyone who takes one of his popular "Spooks and Spirits" ghost hunts through the dark alleys and haunted buildings of Uptown Butte. Chris knows his stuff and his style and demeanor is captivating, heartfelt and extremely interesting.
The Belmont Senior Center at 615 E. Mercury is excited to announce that they will be hosting "A Night In Butte History" with Chris Fisk on Friday, March 27th. The evening will begin with a delicious, traditional Butte Pasty dinner at 6pm followed by Fisk's talk which will cover many different areas of Butte's rich and colorful history. If there is anything you have ever wanted to know about Butte or questions you want answered, be sure to attend this special event. From headframes to hauntings, politics, Copper Kings and mining, all topics are fair game and open for discussion. All ages are welcome to attend and all proceeds will go to support the many programs offered by the Belmont Senior Center to the seniors of Butte and Southwest Montana.
Tickets must be purchased in advance at the Belmont Senior Center. For further details, please call the Belmont at (406) 723-7773.
