Butte Businesses Are Buzzing With New Openings And Renovations
All you need to do is take a quick drive anywhere around Butte and you will see without a doubt that business is on the rise. New businesses are opening, vacant buildings are being restored and put to use and existing businesses are investing in their local properties. Butte Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Stephanie Sorini says it's a good time to be in business in Butte.
"Butte is open for business," Sorini said, noting the rise in activity. "We have Pharm406 that has opened up and what a great re-use of that building and they are Montana-pwned. We have Tractor Supply. We are seeing the reinvestment with the Front Street Safeway who are re doing their building - they're adding a pharmacy and re doing the parking lot and have hired a lot of local subs. We have Take 5 Oil Change that has opened up. We have Les Schwab who is building a whole new building. When you see everything that is going on, it's amazing. Chipotle will soon be opening up, Planet Fitness is well underway, the vibe that Butte has is incredible," she told us.
Sorini attributed Butte's incredible growth to cooperation between local government, agencies and investors in our community. "It is absolutely amazing when you meet with these businesses, how appreciative they are of the teamwork between Butte-Silver Bow, Butte Local Devlopment, the Chamber, how flawless it is for them to come to Butte and open a business."
