Butte Wings And Wheels: A Summer Tradition At Bert Mooney Airport

In it's sixth incarnation, Butte's Wings and Wheels air and car show has become one of those events that we can't help but look forward to every summer. This years event is set for Saturday at 8am at Butte's Bert Mooney Airport and judging by last year's turnout and the incredible growth this event has seen annually, this Saturday has the potential to be huge.

CAR SHOW

The car show portion of Wings & Wheels is one of the biggest in the state and with the tarmac of the airport as the site, there is plenty of room for cars of all types. Automobiles, pickup trucks, hot rods, military vehicles and motorcycles are all welcome, registration is free and you can get signed up by clicking here. Registration and show admission are free.

One of the reasons for the great turnout is the help from Butte Auto with the trophies, which are incredible. Here is a look at the hardware last years' winners took home.

Trophies will be awarded at 2:30pm.

AIRPLANE DISPLAYS AND FLY-INS

The air show will again feature vintage aircraft on display as well as fly-ins, again yours to enjoy free of charge. You'll have the chance to get up close and personal and see the kinds of things the types of things that nonpilots rarely enjoy as well as exhibits, food vendors and fun.
