A local nonprofit is inviting the community to step out for an evening of food, music and giving back this Saturday night in Butte.

The Butte Cadet Squadron supporters group will host a fundraiser this Saturday, March 28th, at the Knights of Columbus Hall at 224 W. Park Street.  The evening aims to raise money for OCP uniforms for cadets involved with the Civil Air Patrol in Butte who may not otherwise be able to afford them.

Festivities will get underway with a pasta dinner at 5pm, with doors opening at 4:45pm.  Guests may choose from options including Chicken Alfredo, to go alongside sides, salad and dessert.  Drinks will be available for purchase in the bar area of the Knights of Columbus.  Dinner along with admission to the following dance is priced at $10 per person or $15 per couple.

Following dinner, the evening will continue with a dance starting at 7pm with doors opening at 6:45pm.  If you wish to attend the dance only you can do so by making a donation at the door.  A DJ will be spinning tunes and taking your requests throughout the night.

In addition to dinner and dancing, attendees can expect a silent auction and a color guard presentation with other fun events in store as well.  Organizers say guests are encouraged to dress up, whether they choose formal or semi-formal attire.

Street parking will be available and attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure a spot.  Those who plan to attend are asked to provide a headcount in advance to help organizers prepare.  Please email crazymamalama35@gmail.com with your number and also feel free to get in touch if you are interested in making a donation for the silent auction.  All donations are tax deductible and donor names will be mentioned at the event.  With your donation comes free admission to the event.
