GoFundMe Accounts Set Up For Family of Anaconda Shooting Victim

Only months after a bar shooting rocked our neighbors in Anaconda, another senseless act of violence has claimed another life.  Over the weekend, a shooting at Carmel's Sports Bar and Grill in Anaconda took the life of the establishment's co-owner, Shane Charles.

While rampant rumors and speculation are running rampant in Southwest Montana one thing remains certain--the shooting leaves behind a family who are not only dealing with a sudden and devastating death but they are also dealing with funeral expenses and an uncertain financial future.

Per one of the GoFundMe pages that have been established, Shane was very fondly remembered.

"Shane was more than a hardworking and generous person he was an amazing father, a devoted family man, and a loyal friend to so many. He loved his family deeply and worked hard every day to provide for those he cared about. His kindness, sense of humor, and willingness to help others left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. Whether you knew Shane as a friend, coworker, neighbor, or family member, you likely have a story that speaks to the type of man he was. He had a way of making people feel welcome, valued, and cared for. The world needs more people like him. My heart is broken for his family as they face this unimaginable loss. No words can truly ease the pain they are experiencing, but I hope our community can come together to support them during this difficult time. "
