The following is a release from Digger Athletics and the Butte Chamber of Commerce:

The No. 21 Montana Tech Orediggers will host the No. 3 Georgetown College Tigers in a highly anticipated matchup on Thursday, August 29th at 6:00 pm on Bob Green Field. This thrilling contest, known as the Rocky Mountain Credit Union Copper Game, marks the start of the 2024 college football season in Montana.

Traffic Flow: Due to construction on Park Street, attendees must travel to and from campus using either Granite Street or Steele Street.

Parking: Free parking will be available in the Library parking lot, Park Street, and the tiers. Paid parking ($10 cash only) is available on the south side of the HPER. Parking attendants will direct all attendees to the appropriate parking spot.

Tailgating: Tailgaters must travel to and from campus using Steele Street and then over Montana Tech Road. Tailgate spots are for season tailgate pass holders only and are first come, first served. Tailgates will open two and a half hours before game time. Tailgaters must be in their spots no later than 5:30 pm.

Montana Tech is one of three Frontier Conference teams ranked in the top 25 joining No. 4 College of Idaho and No. 11 Montana Western. The Copper Game will be a great start to the 2024 Oredigger Football Season.
