Midweek Rock Show and More this week at The Covellite

Open Mic Night on Tuesday and a Wednesday rock show with 4 bands kicks off an exciting week of activity at The Covellite at 215 W. Broadway in Historic Uptown Butte.  Here is a look at what's happening.

TUESDAY - OPEN MIC NIGHT

Dan Mitchem is your host this week as Open Mic Night takes place from 8pm to 11pm.  Have a talent you want to show off?  Sign ups start at 7pm in the lounge.

WEDNESDAY - PULSE IN CONCERT

Headlining the evening is California rock 'n' roll band PULSE, joined by Brooklyn indie-punk outfit Idaho Green, Butte's own hardcore favorites Almost Empathy, and Montana post-hardcore band Ritual Flowers.  Showtime is set for 8pm

FRIDAY 6:30PM - 8:30PM - MICKEY HALDI ARTIST RECEPTION

August's featured artist is Mickey Haldi who you can meet in the lounge.  Working across painting and other artistic disciplines, Haldi creates pieces shaped by movement, observation, and a deep commitment to creative practice. Their work reflects a unique perspective informed not only by the visual arts, but also by experiences as a pole dancer, yoga instructor, farmer, and educator, bringing a thoughtful sense of energy and connection to each piece.

FRIDAY, 9PM - DOUBLE DECADES DJ NIGHT

Mic Mercury and TREX will be spinning everything from pop, hip-hop, rock, and dance classics to the songs you forgot you knew every word to. Whether you grew up with CDs and burned mixtapes or you're just here for nostalgia, expect a packed dance floor and a soundtrack full of throwback anthems.  Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door.

SATURDAY - COVELLITE PLAYERS PRESENT "NERDY BUTTONS"

The Covellite Players return with Nerdy Buttons Improv Night, an evening of fast-paced, unscripted comedy fueled by audience suggestions and the cast's imagination. No two shows are ever the same, so every scene, character, and unexpected twist is created live in the moment.  Showtime is 8pm, tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door.
