Fans of live music with a little bit of everything mixed in are in for a great evening later this month as The Covellite welcomes Lamby and Busted Dreams to Uptown Butte on Thursday, June 25.

The all-ages show kicks off at The Covellite with doors opening at 7pm and music beginning at 8pm. Advance tickets are available for only $5 with day-of-show admission set at $10.

Traveling to Butte from Santa Fe, New Mexico, Lamby has been building a reputation for its energetic and genre-defying sound.  The band describes its style as "y'allternative," a fitting label for a group that seamlessly blends country, indie rock, bluegrass and alternative influences into a musical experience that is hard to place in a single category.

Fronted by vocalist and fiddle player Georgina Hahn, Lamby combines traditional roots music with modern indie sensibilities and a healthy dose of humor.  Organizers describe the band's sound as something like "Patsy Cline meeting Weezer at a Bluegrass Festival."

With fiddle, guitar, bass and drums weaving together in unexpected ways, Lamby's live performances are known for encouraging audiences to move, laugh and enjoy the moment.  Rather than taking themselves too seriously, the group leans into a playful approach that has helped them stand out on the independent music scene.

Joining Lamby for the evening will be Busted Dreams, adding another layer of live music to what promises to be a lively Thursday night in Uptown Butte.

The show is part of The Covellite's ongoing commitment to bringing diverse touring acts and original music to the community.  For local music fans looking to discover something new, Lamby's upcoming stop in Butte offers an affordable opportunity to experience a fresh sound and an entertaining night of live performance.
