Fly Fishing Film Tour coming to Butte’s Mother Lode Theater

Fly fishing enthusiasts and outdoor lovers alike will have something special to look forward to on February 28th as the Fly Fishing Film Tour comes to Butte's Mother Lode Theater at 316 W. Park Street.

The 2026 Fly Fishing Film Tour (F3T) will start at 7pm and bring together a collection of world-class fly fishing films that showcase breathtaking destinations, unforgettable adventures and the people who live for life on the water.

F3T is marking its 20th anniversary season this year which is a milestone that truly reflects just how popular the tour has become among anglers across the country.  What started as a small traveling film event has grown into the largest and most recognized fly fishing film tour in the world.  Each stop is designed to feel less like a movie screening and more like a community gathering.

Organizers say the Butte show will be packed with more than just films.  Attendees can expect giveaways throughout the evening, appearances by special guests and plenty of laughs shared among a room full of fellow anglers.  The films themselves?  They range from technical trout fishing stories to far-off saltwater adventures, offering something for everyone whether you fish every weekend or even if you just enjoy the storytelling side of the sport.
