
An Ri Ra Montana Irish Festival this weekend in Uptown Butte
Music, dancing, genealogy, fun and laughter are all a big part of the annual An Ri Ra Montana Irish Festival that gets underway this Friday and runs through Sunday at sites centered around the Original Mineyard in Historic Uptown Butte. Here is a look at this year's master schedule, events are subject to change;
FRIDAY
- 9:30am - Genealogy - "Ties That Bind; Tracing Ancestry from Beara to Butte" with Dorothy Brophy of the Allhies Copper Mine Museum at Butte-Silver Bow Public Archives.
- 1pm - Flag Raising/Opening Ceremony at Butte-Silver Bow County Courthouse
- 2:30pm - Dublin Gulch at Original Mineyard
- 3:50pm - Tiernan Irish Dancers of Butte at Original Mineyard
