It is time for the Montana Tech Oredigger Auction

The Digger Auction is nearly upon us!

The 2023 Miners Ball and Digger Athletic Association Auction is coming up Saturday, April 15th. The annual event is the primary fundraiser for Oredigger Athletics and Montana Tech student-athletes.

It is a night we get to gather as Orediggers and help support both current and future student-athletes at Montana Tech.

Doors at the HPER will open at 5 pm, allowing you plenty of time to find your table, grab a beverage, and start to take it all in. You will see several games throughout the gym manned by student-athletes, giving you plenty of opportunities to win Oredigger swag as well as a plethora of other prizes. You will also see an incredible array of silent auction items. Gift baskets, gift certificates for services, handmade and one-of-a-kind items.

If you are a collector of memorabilia, you need to get your seat now. Through the years there have been autographed pieces from every professional sport. I remember a Dick Butkus signed jersey, a Drew Brees signed football, a PGA Master’s flag signed by Jack Nicklaus, an Aaron Judge signed baseball, and a whole lot more.

If memorabilia isn’t your bag, and you’d rather pack a bag and take off for a trip, the auction has you covered as well. Through the years there have been Notre Dame football packages, Army-Navy football packages, NFL, NCAA, NBA, NHL, MLS, NASCAR, and more, trips centered around sports.
If you’d rather hop a plane for a ‘non-sports’ experience, they have you covered. Trips have ranged from Nashville for a one-of-a-kind country music vacation, to Cancun for nothing but sand and beach drinks.

How about a golf trip to Rock Creek, or Stock Farm for golf? Hunting trips to the Dakotas, fishing trips to Alaska. Every year you will see well over 100 silent auction items, and over 50 incredible live auction items.
