Are you and your kids ready for Halloween?  The big day is quickly approaching to the delight of kids and adults in Southwest Montana and the decorations are up all over the Mining City.  One staple of Halloween, of course, is carving the jack-o-lantern and this is the time where the stock in local stores becomes depleted.  Don't make the mistake of waiting until the last minute to get your pumpkin.  The sad reality is that stores have run out in the past and there is nothing worse than telling your kid you couldn't get a pumpkin this year.  But there is a way to avoid that.  In fact, if you're looking to have a bit of family fun while selecting your pumpkin, the Silver Bow Event Center has something that will be of interest to you.

The Silver Bow Event Center is located at 122040 Nissler Road, just west of the Town Pump Travel Plaza and they not only have pumpkins available right now in the Pumpkin Patch, but a Fall Festival with some great things happening this weekend.  This Saturday and Sunday kids events, food trucks, face painting and arts & crafts get underway at 10am each day.  On Saturday, the Klobucars will host one of their fun line-dance classes at 2:30pm and Josh Mahoney will perform at 5pm.  On Sunday, pumpkin carving starts at 2pm, free trick-or-treating starts at 3pm and the costume contest is at 4pm.
