Rader Bros. 2nd Annual Car Show August 23rd at the Butte Depot
You can be sure that when Bill Fisher of the Butte Depot and Butte Legend Bob Rader get together on a project, it's going to be fairly big. It was just a few weeks ago we had our first ever Cruise Nite at the Depot and it turned into one of our biggest ever, so we know what Mr. Fisher is capable of.
What can you say about Bob Rader other than there will probably one day be a statue of him somewhere on the Butte Hill. Perhaps right next to Marcus Daly. Visitors will be able to distinguish the two because Bob's statue will have only one finger raised, but I digress. At least there will still be the t-shirt.
On a serious note, Bob is one of the people behind the annual Rader Brothers Car Show that will be happening at the Butte Depot on August 23rd.
It's going to be another big one as registration is free and all cars, trucks and motorcycles are welcome to take part. Registration and setup starts at 8am and the car show runs from 10am until 6pm featuring a 50/50 and auction items as well. There will be local food trucks on hand like Wicked BBQ, Turk's Food Truck and Copper City Espresso along with local vendors and there is room for more.
PROCEEDS TO MONTANA HOPE PROJECT
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Montana Hope Project who have raffle tickets right now that could win a '67 Chevelle. The drawing will be at the MHPs 2025 Winter Reunion.
