Get Ready For A Wild Shrek Rave At Covellite
A wild night of music, costumes, and over-the-top party energy is heading to Uptown Butte as the Shrek Rave takes over the Covellite Theatre for an adults-only dance party that promises chaos in the best possible way.
The 18+ event will be held at the historic venue at 215 W. Broadway, with doors opening at 9 p.m. and the party continuing until 2 a.m. Organizers say attendees can expect a packed dance floor, booming DJ sets, immersive visuals, and a full evening inspired by the beloved green ogre and his fairy-tale universe.
Billed as more than just a themed party, the Shrek Rave combines high-energy electronic music with crowd singalongs, throwback hits, and festival-style drops designed to keep the momentum going all night long. The event embraces absurdity and nostalgia, encouraging guests to lean into the fun whether they arrive in full costume or simply ready for a memorable night out.
According to organizers, the rave has developed a reputation for delivering unpredictable moments and an atmosphere that does not take itself too seriously. Fans of the animated franchise can expect references, visuals, and surprises throughout the night, while DJs keep the energy high with nonstop mixes spanning multiple styles and eras of party music.
General admission tickets are $20 in advance and $30 the day of the show. VIP tickets are also available and include early entry along with access to a reserved front section near the stage, giving attendees a spot close to the action throughout the evening.
Event organizers emphasized that no cash will be accepted at the door. All tickets must be purchased online through Eventbrite before entry.
With themed nightlife events continuing to grow in popularity across Montana and beyond, the Shrek Rave is expected to draw a lively crowd looking for something different in Butte’s entertainment scene. For those ready to dance until 2 a.m. in a swamp-inspired party atmosphere, organizers say this is one night they will not want to miss,
