You will be looking for quite a while if you are trying to find someone who had not been affected by suicide.  Maybe you've thought about suicide yourself.  There is hope and there is support and on April 12th, the Out of the Darkness Suicide Prevention Walk will be taking place at Montana Tech.  Check in is at 10am and the walk is scheduled for noon.
The Out of the Darkness Walks provide a meaningful opportunity for team building, promoting health and wellness, and coming together for a vital cause suicide prevention and mental health awarenessRegistration is completely free, and while fundraising is an option, it is not required to participate. This event is about fostering a supportive community that is informed and proactive about mental health.

Ways to Get Involved:

  • Host a Resource Table: Share information about your services, provide giveaways, and connect with participants. Vendor tables are free, and interactive displays are encouraged!
  • Create a Walk Team: Gather colleagues, friends, or family to sign up and walk together. Teams help raise awareness and funds for suicide prevention.
  • Spread the Word: Share the event with your networks to help us reach more people who may benefit from the resources and support.
