Butte-Silver Bow Fire Department

You've got to hand it to our Butte-Silver Bow Fire Department. Not only are they ready, willing and able to race into burning buildings, risking life and limb at the sound of an alarm bell, as a regular part of their job. That goes without saying. So you have to particularly admiring the men and women of the department who have given up their day off on one of the hottest days of the summer to stand on Harrison Avenue collecting money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

1895 Warehouse Fire tragedy is finally memorialized. Official dedication is this Monday.

Lunch in the Park at Emma Park is back in full swing in Uptown Butte and Wednesday is going to be full of food, music and fun for the kids.

The Butte-Silver Bow Fire Department is first on the scene of many car accidents involving injury and have unfortunately seen firsthand the results of improperly used or fitted child safety seats. But luckily, they are also experts at properly installing and fitting them and they are having a clinic on Wednesday, July 19, where they will make sure your child is safe in your vehicle. They will also make sure that the safety seat that you are using is the correct one for your child's height and weight.

Join friends of Captain Brant Bristol along with supporters at Metal's Sports Bar and Grill on the corner of Park and Main in Butte for "Pint Night" Thursday, June 1 from 6 to 9pm. A portion of all draft, can and bottled beer sold will be donated to Captain Bristol and his family as he recovers from his injuries.
