Butte has proven itself as a destination city. The Butte Tourism Improvement District wants to not only support these big events that are already happening but to possible assist with funding for events that may be still in the planning stages. Are you part of an event or business that brings people to town and puts guests in hotel rooms? There may be money available for you. The Butte Chamber of Commerce is hosting a "Super Hero Workshop" for any interested front-line workers who come into regular contact with visitors to our city. The workshop will equip you with the tools to educate visitors on where to stay and eat. Where to shop. What unique local attractions we have to offer. It will be taking place in the conference room of the Butte Comfort Inn on Tuesday, May 7th. There will be two sessions to choose from, one from 9am to 10:30am and the other from 11am until 12:30pm. Prizes will be given away throughout the day.
