Interestingly, the level of expertise you can find in this state is impressive and has come an awfully long way in recent years.

As the summer comes to a close, the organizers of this summer's Music on Main series of Thursday evening celebrations in Uptown Butte obviously planned on turning up the heat a little bit as the weather cools down. This week it is veteran Butte band F.O.G. on the big stage and anyone who has seen them at previous Music on Main events knows that this is definitely their type of crowd. F.O.G. is Toby Schelin and Dennis Weis on guitars, Mark James on bass and Gary Robinson on drums will all four on vocals. If you're hungry for good food and great music, this Thursday will have both.

Two of Butte's favorite things return this Thursday night as Wayne Brothers and the Nite Life Band will officially kick off the 2023 "Music on Main" series of music, food and fun that will be held every Thursday night through the summer between 6 and 9pm on Main Street between Park and Broadway.
