After braving the heat a couple of weeks ago at Redline Sports, KMBR's second Cruise Nite of the season looks like it's going to be another hot one as things move down the street to Rocky Mountain Car Wash at 3410 Harrison Avenue for Cruise Nite #2 this Wednesday evening.

Well, if we wanted to wait until one of the hottest days of the summer for our first Cruise Nite of the summer on KMBR, we certainly accomplished our mission. Even with the mercury at 90 degrees as we began our broadcast, it certainly did not deter a large and enthusiastic crowd from gathering at Redline Sports on Harrison Avenue and many of them brought out some impressive classic cars, trucks and motorcycles for the first of several Cruise Nites we'll be hosting throughout the rest of the summer.

We may be off to a bit of a later start than usual this summer but this Wednesday evening, Cruise Nite returns to the streets of Butte, and we are holding our first event at Redline Sports at 1839 Harrison Avenue.

So far this summer's Cruise Nites have seen a little bit of everything. A dragster took home top honors at our first event back in June and our last event saw a late model Corvette speed off with the Peoples' Choice Award for cars and trucks. Competition on the motorcycle side hasn't been too shabby either and we are expecting plenty of both for our 4th Cruise Nite of the summer which gets underway tonight at 6pm at Redline Sports on Harrison Avenue.

Tonight, we head to Butte's Ace Hardware for our second Cruise Nite of the season and if the past is any indicator of future success, this is going to be big.

The 2023 schedule has been rolled out for Cruise Nite here in the Mining City and it looks like it's going to be a very good year! Cruise Nites again will fall on Wednesday evenings from 6 to 8pm and will generally follow an every-other-week schedule. Each week, listeners and readers of Townsquare Media in Butte are invited to join us at a different location to compete for the "People's Choice Awards" which are determined by popular vote and awarded to the top-voted car or truck and motorcycle.
