Butte's own Tim Montana has recently put up a Facebook post that got our attention.  In the post, Montana puts out the call that he is looking for extras for his new music video.

This sounds like a pretty cool opportunity even if you just want to show up to see the process of creating a music video.  And Tim Montana is REALLY into his videos.  He's also brought Butte residents into the mix previously as you've seen Butte folks from first responders, miners and even the late, great Danny Wong of the Pekin Noodle Parlor featured in his video for the song "American Thread."

I got to tag along on the video shoot and watching Danny Wong do his thing for the camera is something I will never forget.  And to prove how serious Tim Montana takes his work, the man holding the camera is director Spidey Smith who has also worked with artists such as Eminem, Duran Duran and Good Charlotte.  So when Tim shoots, he means business.

Oh, since we're talking directors, you may have heard of the guy who directed the video for his song "Mostly Stoned".

His given name is Carlos Estevez.  But you probably know him as Charlie Sheen.

So, what will Tim have up his sleeve this time?  Well, the address brings up the First Baptist Church which makes me wonder.  Is he bringing some Nashville flavor to Butte with a full Southern-style choir?  How will the extras be used?  What song is he shooting the video for?  Who's the director?  I guess we will have to wait until tonight to find out.
