Any time someone is diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer, it is a heavy blow to their family.  Especially when it is a young father who is just getting things going in life.  But Brandon West is not the type of person to let cancer stop him.  He and his family could, however, use some help from their community, a community that has come together in the past, time and time again.

Brandon is only 37.  He and his beautiful wife Jessica are the proud parents of a couple of energetic, curious and wonderful little boys, Kingston who is 5 and Kyce is 2 years old.  Brandon, as a loving and hard-working man who always puts his family first, has had to put his own urgent medical needs at the forefront since his Stage 3 colon cancer diagnosis last fall.  His treatment includes extensive surgery along with many months of gut-wrenching chemotherapy.  This is not only going to take him away from his work, but it is going to rack up a bevy of medical bills that is hard to comprehend.  Brandon and his family need your help.  Here is how you can do it.

First, mark your calendar for February 22, 2025, because that is when Brandon's benefit will be taking place at the Butte Elks Lodge, 206 W. Galena.  If you can't make the benefit or just don't want to wait until then to help, hit up his gofundme page and donate a few dollars.  Every amount helps.  You may also donate at the Butte Community Federal Credit Union in care of the "Brandon West Medical Fund".  If one of Brandon's family members or friends hits you or your business up, please be generous.

Let's rally around Brandon and his family during this difficult time.  If you can help in any way, please contact:

  • Shelbie Haynes - (406) 565-2362
  • Eve Breen - (406) 490-3192
  • Krista Bryson (406) 496-8004
  • Alli Kelly - (406) 490-1406
