Car Show, Outdoor Festival coming to Big Sky on Waterford

Car enthusiasts, families and community members will have plenty to look forward to this Friday, August 21, when Big Sky on Waterford hosts a car show and outdoor festival here in the Mining City.

The event is scheduled from 4pm to 7pm at Big Sky on Waterford, 3701 Elizabeth Warren Avenue.  Organizers are inviting vehicles of all makes and models with a $25-per-car entry fee.  Trophies will be awarded for first, second and third place in the car show.

The evening, though, is about more than cars.  Families can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities including games, a dunk tank and rides around the area.  Food trucks will be on hand as well, offering treats and snacks for hungry attendees.

The event is being organized as a fundraiser with proceeds benefitting the Souothwest Montana Walk to End Alzheimer's.  Organizers say the goal is to bring people together for an evening of fun while supporting a meaningful cause.

The festival's theme says it all; "Come for the cars, stay for the fun!"
