Carousel Benefit Car Show at Stodden Park September 8th
The 8th Annual Carousel Benefit Car Show hosted by the Pioneer Street Rods, one of Southwest Montana's biggest of the year, is set for September 8th at Stodden Park in Butte. In addition to Top Ten Awards and dash plaques being up for grabs, contestants will be competing or the coveted Jake Hart Memorial Trophy and will be given a bevy of amenities with their entries.
The car show will run from 10am until 3pm outside of the Spirit of Columbia Gardens Carousel. Pre-registration is $20 until August 15th, $5 for each additional vehicle. Entries after August 15th will be $25. Included with your entry fee are two lunches and two rides on the Carousel. In addition to the car show there will be a 50/50 drawing and a Dutch Auction and the winning raffle ticket will be drawn for a $1000 shopping spree at Murdoch's Ranch and Home Supply. A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Spirit of Columbia Gardens Carousel.
The Pioneer Street Rods car club is the oldest in Southwest Montana dating back to 1972.
The Carousel just celebrated its 6th birthday and features, in addition to the incredible main attraction, a wonderful snack and ice cream bar along with two separate seating areas for parties or larger gatherings, a well-stocked gift shop and even an original coaster car and carousel horse from the original Columbia Gardens.
