This may be the only car show in Montana that you are allowed to fly into.  But then again, not a lot of car shows take place at an airport or have planes and flight simulators for folks to check out.  Butte's Wings & Wheels does.  Wings & Wheels is not only one of the biggest car shows of the early season but aircraft will be on display too and they will give you a chance to get a behind-the-scenes look at how an airport operates.  Oh, and there will be flight simulators on hand as well.  Sound fun?  Well, it is.  And there's lots to eat too.

Saturday, June 8 at Bert Mooney Airport

Things will get underway with a pancake breakfast from 8am to 10:30am with the Butte Civil Air Patrol and the car show with Butte Auto will also begin at 8 along with the aircraft fly-in and display.  For those with aircraft, fuel will be available for two bits over cost.  There is no fee to enter your ground-vehicle in the car show and entrants will be competing for some cool trophies.  Sign ups will be at the gate.  The food vendors will open up at 11am and will run until 3pm when things close down for the evening.  There will be gate prizes and hourly drawings as well as STEM displays and activities for all ages.  Please leave your pets at home as only leashed, trained service animals will be allowed to enter.
