Here is a look at Butte Central’s weekly sports schedule

The Butte Central Catholic High School Maroons are in action around Southwest Montana this week and here is a look at their weekly sports schedule.

GOLF

The Butte Central Golf Teams will be in action all day Tuesday at the Fox Ridge Golf Course competing in the East Helena Invite.  Play starts at 9:30am.  The golfers will return to action Saturday in the Bitterroot Valley competing in the Hamilton Invite starting at 10am.

CROSS COUNTRY

Butte Central's Cross Country Team will have a busy weekend competing Friday at Highlands View Golf Course at Stodden Park in the Butte High Invitational and Saturday at the Dillon Invite.  Races start at noon Friday and 11am on Saturday.

VOLLEYBALL

The BC Volleyball squads will be in the friendly confines of the Maroon Activities Center Thursday hosting the Stevensville Yellowjackets.  The freshmen play at 4;15pm, the JVs at 5:30 and the varsity match is set for 7pm.  The Maroons will be on the road Saturday at Corvallis.  The freshmen game is at 1pm, the JVs play at 2:30 and the varsity contest is set for 4pm.

FOOTBALL

The Maroons are off to their best start in years coming into this Friday night's game against the Corvallis Blue Devils with a 2-1 overall record.  The young Maroons lost their first game of the season last week, 21-14 to the Polson Pirates.  Kickoff is set for 7pm in Corvallis.
